The 9 physicians and their 35 employees provide healthcare services to patients at two facilities and needed to ensure that all patient records are accessible to authorized personnel regardless of location. They engaged IntelliSuite to help realize this vision.
The Intellisuite Citrix Solution:
This practice utilizes AllScripts Impact MD EMR solution, which was deployed by IntelliSuite IT Solutions. By deploying Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server, IntelliSuite virtualized all FPA computer programs in order to make them available anywhere, on any device. To secure the implementation, IntelliSuite used Citrix Secure Gateway Services, Web Interface, and SonicWall Firewall.
This solution allows authorized employees to access medical information and patient records securely from anywhere, office or home, thereby meeting the security requirements of the Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
